Gaeta – First Aid Point Caporossi No overnight closures

Gaeta – First Aid Point, Caporossi: “No overnight closures.”

It’s unfounded the news spread in recent days about the possible nighttime closure of the First Aid Point at the Level II Monsignor Di Liegro District Hospital’s. AUSL Latina General Director Michele Caporossi gives full reassurance on the matter to Mayor of Gaeta Cosmo Mitrano who, in a note, had asked for clarification and elucidation on the real situation at the PPI, following the circulation in the press of worrying rumors.

“There&#8217s no truth in the news circulateddeclares the First Citizen – General Management totally denies the possibility that the PPI may be closed after 8 p.m. Director Caporossi, indeed, was puzzled by what happened and remains available for any clarification, as he has always been. So let’s reassure the population: the Gaeta First Aid Point remains open h24.”

“If before spreading a news of such strong social impact – Mayor Mitrano continues – we would ascertain the source by going directly to the appropriate bodies, which would avoid alarm and tension in the city community. If Director Caporossi had been asked, everything would have been cleared up immediately. At this point, we hope that the fake news has not been put into circulation for the sole purpose of demagogic politics conducted by those who do not care about the welfare and care of the population, but act with the’intent to destabilize the social sphere in order to create discontent and incite specious protests”.

“Even in this delicate situation – concludes – the good relationship established with the’Reference Entity allowed our Administration to clarify the problem immediately. When working in synergy with institutions, it is easy to assess any critical issues, address them together to arrive at shared solutions, and above all aimed at the good of the communities”.

There would also be good news regarding the inspections carried out, in recent days, by the Carabinieri of the NAS of Latina at the First Aid Point of Gaeta: the city councilor President of the Social Services Commission Gennaro Dies lets it be known that no discrepancies nor anomalies would appear to have been found in the structure.
